Under the care of her strict father, a 17-year-old girl finds her life confined within the remote fishing village. Her allergy to light means that she has to wrap herself up with wide-brim hat, long sleeves, gloves and sun glasses, winter and summer. The unusual pearl white skin and attire make her an icon to the villagers, whom call her “the white girl” and see her as someone with bad omen. One day, an artist runs away from the materialistic world to the fishing village, discovering the white girl. Their encounter marks a new page to each one’s life and unveil a deep-rooted secret.
